Comfortably seated inside your car (windows closed), your journey around the world starts in
Africa
where the parks' elephants will greet you.
|
|
|
Carry on your journey through
Africa
and meet the" ships of the desert", the dromedaries. Do they have one or two humps? You will encounter a lot of antelopes, the Watussi cattle with their tremendous horns, the ostriches, the hyenas (these are camouflage experts; do you think you can spot them?) and a herd of zebras which complete this wonderful wildlife landscape of the African plain. Oh, something just moved in the water, on the left! Isn’t it a hippopotamus, the well-named “horse of the river”?

The white rhinos and the giraffes occupy an
4 hectares
area where they can frolic as they like and let you admire the heavy step and the power of the rhino which echoes the large stride of the giraffes.
|
|
Then, you change continents in just a blink of an eye, and leave Africa!

A vast wooded park opens in front of you. Be vigilant and take a good look as the American black bears are everywhere, in the water, behind the bushes, up in the trees! Don’t be fooled by their easy-going appearance, these bears are not teddy bears… they run much faster than you do and their claws are very efficient weapons… Keep your windows closed!!!!
Their cousins, the polar bears, are held in a separate enclosure as don’t forget that polar bears are the largest terrestrial predators.
You then become the Buffalo Bill of the 21st century’s and go through the impressive buffalos’ territory.
The journey continues in
Asia
with the nilgai antelopes, the biggest antelopes from
India
, and the graceful blackbucks, the males of which raise splendid twisted horns.
Yaks are, as for them, covered by a thick fur which allows them to withstand the cold of the
Himalaya
.
Don’t hesitate to come back to a species if the animals were sleeping the first time. They too have a right to rest!
That’s it, you are leaving the drive-through park!
Two picnic areas are waiting for you: the first one just after the exit of the “Safari” part, the other at the entrance of the pedestrian part, close to the playing area and the Resto’Brousse snack.
To go to the pedestrian part, go down and leave your car in one of the 2 big parking areas and, most important, don’t forget your camera because more than three quarters of the animals of the Safari de Peaugres are expecting you in the pedestrian part! |
